The National Field Research Centre for Environmental Conservation (NFRCEC), Diwan of Royal Court, Sultanate of Oman is leading in environmental conservation activities focusing on critically threatened species and habitats across the Sultanate of Oman and provider of cutting-edge in biodiversity conservation research, education, and training, since its inception in 2012. Scientific rigor and innovative methodologies, underpin the conservation actions of NFRCEC.
In 2016, The National Field Research Centre for Environmental Conservation Diwan of Royal Court, Sultanate of Oman, began a collaboration with the Center for Environmental Studies and Research, Sultan Qaboos University, Sultanate of Oman, for the conservation of Birds. The conservation activities involve birds monitoring, investigation on birds migration, research on habitat conditions on the health of bird populations, provide accurate database about wild birds of Oman, and providing a variety of environmental programs that connect people at all ages to nature.
We wish to see a future where the birds of Oman are forever abundant, contributing to the sustainability of Omani landscapes.
